I designed The Naked Yogi Vegan Diet in an educated attempt to revamp my lymphatic system, recharge my adrenals, to cleanse my digestive tract. I lost 15# in the first month and The Naked Yogi Vegan diet has created long term eating habits that have kept the weight off.

What It Takes

The diet is very easy, and recipes that I used require minimal time to put together.

I call it The Naked Yogi Vegan Diet because it’s made up of mostly raw & naked foods. Plant foods that are in their natural, raw state, and plant foods that are slightly cooked.

This diet is bursting with fresh fruit and produce, is combined with Intermittent fasting, and a very low amount of fat to super charge the body into a fat burning state of alkalinity. I want to stress that with The Naked Yogi Vegan Diet you should be eating organic produce whenever possible, because you don’t want added pesticides or GMOs.

How It Works

First, this diet requires a 30 day commitment.

The Naked Yogi Vegan Diet requires:

1. weigh yourself everyday.

2. A daily gentle yoga practice of at least 30 minutes, and a 30 minute walk.

3. At least 10 minutes of meditation, and 10 minutes of journaling.

4. 108 Breath of fire. (3 rounds of 36 breaths.)

All of these daily tasks above strengthening the commitment to health and kept you centered and steering the mind and body toward your goal of releasing the unwanted pounds.

The Naked Yogi Diet

In addition, here are the steps I followed for this vegan diet. Upon waking after using the bathroom weigh yourself naked. In this moment feel gratitude for your beautiful body, it has gotten you to this moment. Moving forward always step on the scale after you have told yourself that you are loved and honored for being exactly where and who you are.

Start your day with black coffee or green tea Followed by 2 cups of warm water.

10:30 am a low glycemic fruit breakfast. Make this a mono meal. For example 2 apples with cinnamon, a bowl of berries, 2 pears.

4 cups of warm water before your next meal.

12:30-1:30pm a meal of Tempeh or tofu with sauerkraut or Kim chi. I like to put the tempeh in the air fryer on high for 10 minutes, for the tofu, I use soft tofu and season with everything bagel spice and sesame blend. Use 1/2 cup as a serving size for the Kim chi and sauerkraut. Alternate days.

4 cups of warm water before your next meal.

4:00 pm another mono fruit meal. Allow higher glycemic fruits here like bananas, pineapple, mango.

7-8 pm a large salad full of rainbow colored vegetables. At least 4 cups of mixed leafy greens. Include a baked sweet potato or steamed vegetables on top of your salad. Use fat sources of a handful of olives or 1/4 avocado. Only oil free dressings are permitted on this diet.

Get a good nights sleep!!

Incorporating Intermittent Fasting

Then you intermittent fast from food until 10:30 am the next day. Repeat this everyday for 30 days.

Because The Naked Yogi vegan diet is designed to boost gut health, increase fiber, and to sweep the digestive tract, as well as keeping the body optimally hydrated it is a healthful approach to dieting. However this diet is low in calories and ranges from 800-1000 calories a day while feeding yourself nutrient rich, plant based Whole Foods to produce a state of alkalinity.
